The first CyborgCamp drew international interest, partly due to the excellent quality of the live streaming video. Blaze Streaming Media reported that, “We had online attendees from London, Germany, Japan, Brazil, UCLA, and everywhere in between. The interaction between online audience and live event started to grow as physical attendees started to interact in the chat room. I was excited to see my fellow cyborgians start to chip in with repeating questions to the chat audience and feeding questions to the presenter”.
The event pushed 19,000 viewer minutes. The live stream averaged 40 to 60 viewing the stream at any given time and broadcast for 8+ hours.
This brings to mind two questions:
1. Next year’s CyborgCamp’s attendees (both present and remote).
2. CyborgCamp as an international event (now a reality! see CyborgCamp Brazil ’10).

I am very interested in holding CyborgCamp in different countries (especially if it means that I can meet new and interesting people). Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like to bring CyborgCamp to your geographical vicinity. caseorganic at gmail dot com.
